Honestly, are you as tired as I am of people blindly marketing to you without building any trust, understanding your business, or adding any real value first?
Every day my inbox is flooded with:
• cold pitches
• automated DMs
• generic “partnership opportunities”
• people telling me they can “fix” my brand, grow my audience, or improve my positioning…
…without spending even 30 seconds understanding who I am, what I do, or the work I’ve already built over the last two decades.
The funny part is:
most of the time the people reaching out have less experience, less credibility, and less understanding than the people they’re trying to “help.”
And honestly, I think this is becoming one of the biggest hidden problems in business right now.
Not just because it’s annoying…
But because the constant noise slowly destroys attention, trust, emotional bandwidth, and the ability to recognize real opportunities when they actually appear.
Everyone is trying to extract value before creating any.
That’s backwards.
In my experience, the best relationships, opportunities, partnerships, clients, and businesses are built the opposite way.
Add value first.
Then add more value.
Then add more.
Build trust.
Build credibility.
Build connection.
Something my faith has taught me is that when you genuinely seek to serve others, opportunities naturally begin to follow.
When I’m struggling, I don’t sit around complaining about it.
I look for someone I can help.
And I try to carry that same philosophy into my business, my relationships, my community, and my work every single day.
I don’t want to pressure people into buying things from me.
I want my work, my character, and the impact I create to do the talking for me.
Curious if others are experiencing the same thing…
How are you personally filtering through all the noise while still staying open to meaningful opportunities and relationships?
