re·frame /rēˈfrām/ – verb
definition: to look at, present, or think of (beliefs, ideas, relationships, etc) in a new or different way
Sometimes all you need is a change in your perspective. In coaching and therapy, we call this a reframe.
When we are stressed, depressed, fearful or emotional, we tend to get ‘stuck’ in the problem or moment and begin to create a belief system about ‘how things are’
But when you step back and reframe or look at the problem from a different perspective, you will find that there are many options for success and you are stronger than you thought before.
When we reframe ourselves, we become aware of all the resources we have to grow and make the changes we need.
